"I have been to a lot of weddings. I have never seen anything like that.
Everyone is still talking about it."

The Experience
You have spent months planning every detail of your wedding. Chris is the part your guests never saw coming. An experience most of them have never had, and one they will be talking about long after the cake is gone.
The most common gap in any wedding timeline becomes the most talked-about hour of the night. While you take photos, Chris moves through your guests, breaking the ice, creating laughter, and making sure no one is standing alone with a glass of wine wondering what to do next.
Between courses, during the DJ's setup, at the bar while the dance floor warms up. Chris threads through the room at whatever pace your reception calls for, bringing your guests together in small, unforgettable moments.
Intimate gatherings are where close-up magic is most powerful. When the guest list is small and the setting is personal, the reactions are the ones you remember for life. A perfect fit for the night before the big day.
Still going? So is Chris. For couples who want to keep the energy alive after the reception wraps, a late-night magic set keeps the celebration rolling and gives your closest guests something to remember beyond the dance floor.
Something a little different for the party before the party. Close-up magic at a bridal shower or bachelorette creates a surprisingly elegant and memorable centerpiece, especially for groups that want something beyond the usual.
For couples who want to make magic a true feature of the evening, a 20 to 30 minute interactive parlor show gives every guest at the table a front row seat to something genuinely extraordinary.
Why Chris Wheel
Chris Wheel is a professional magician based in Upstate New York with a background in psychology, and that background shapes everything about how he works. He understands people. He reads rooms. He knows how to make every guest feel like the most important person there without ever making anyone uncomfortable.
Think of it as a gift hidden inside your wedding. Something you planned for them, something they never expected, and something most of them have genuinely never experienced before. Not a party trick. Not a sideshow. A real, personal, impossible moment that happens right in front of them, close enough to touch.

"I have no idea how he did it. I watched his hands the whole time. I still have no idea."

What Couples Are Saying
"Chris was the best decision we made for our cocktail hour. People who hadn't spoken in years were bonding over what he did to their rings. Unreal."
Meghan & Jason R.
Wedding · Oneida, NY
"Our wedding planner recommended him and we were skeptical. By the end of the cocktail hour, three different guests asked us independently if we had his card. That's how good he was."
Danielle & Mark T.
Wedding · Syracuse, NY
"He did NOT disappoint. People are still trying to figure out how he did some of his magic. If you want to put a twist into any gathering, Chris is your man. Thank you for making the start of our marriage weekend one we will never forget."

Common Questions
The cocktail hour is by far the most popular choice. It fills the natural gap between the ceremony and reception while guests mingle, and it gives Chris a natural setting to move from group to group. That said, strolling magic works beautifully during the reception as well, and a short seated show can serve as a true feature moment during dinner.
Not at all. Chris does not work with a microphone or require an audience to "pay attention." He joins small groups naturally, reads the room, and lets the magic happen at the pace the group is comfortable with. No one is put on the spot unless they want to be. It feels like a moment, not a performance.
